Newtrax, a subsidiary of the Swedish multinational engineering company Sandvik, was looking for a Montreal-based creative agency to promote its new digital solution called OptiMine®. This comprehensive solution is designed to ensure the safety of miners, machinery and the work environment in underground mines around the world. LEEROY's mandate was to come up with a design concept and a creative website to differentiate the company in its industry. The challenge with the website was to create a platform with a clean design that would also be scalable, adaptable and, most importantly, effective.

Objectives
The primary objective of this project was to position Newtrax as a leader in the B2B industry of intelligent underground mining operations. From a design perspective, we highlighted the company’s various business solutions in a creative and structured way, helping the company stand out from the competition while showcasing the key characteristics of its new OptiMine® solution. Our second objective was to attract and engage visitors. We achieved this by creating an animated, interactive website with a minimalist look that fits seamlessly with the brand image. We were able to execute cutting-edge animation components by using the Three.js library. We also focused on creating clear and intuitive navigation to optimize the user experience.Finally, we used the CMS system CraftCMS to allow the client to manage the website content independently moving forward.
Results
Thanks to its seasoned and passionate team of designers and developers, LEEROY was successful in meeting Newtrax's objectives. We used a website we created for Exonetik, another technology-centered company, as a reference while developing the site. Our decision to use WebGL technology added real value to the project, allowing us to set the website apart from competitor sites in the mining industry. With this collaboration, we were able to support Newtrax in its evolution from a mining equipment company to a world-leading provider of software and IoT solutions.
