Optina Diagnostics is a Montreal-based start-up that specializes in the development of advanced medical technologies for early and non-invasive detection of diseases through the eye using their cutting edge technology. LEEROY Creative Agency was mandated for the second time by Optina to re-design its website in order to modernise the experience and address the right audiences to meet the brand's goals.

The principal goal of the re-design was to create a central meeting point for the different audiences - patient, doctor, investor - and allow each of them to find the answers they're looking for.

The main audience being the doctors, it was important to allow those users to find the technical information fast and efficiently. The introduction of the horizontal scroll on the home page was a purposeful way to showcase key information from the second the user lands on the website.

Objective

There were three main priorities for the redesign of Optina's website:

- Redesign the existing website to modernise the user experience, the functionalities offered and refresh the user interface while respecting the branding guidelines

- Make Optina technology more accessible and understandable by simplifying/clarifying the subject matter and important messages

- Create a central meeting point between the different target groups to find answers to their questions.
