Our assignment: Johnny Brown hired us to develop a strategy for their new online marketplace. This involved working on the graphic redesign of the logo to, in turn, develop a strong visual identity that was congruent with their philosophy. We had to work on photography and make the transactional marketplace platform impressive in terms of design and graphic quality. We were also asked to support the brand in its marketing strategy and corporate strategy.

By redesigning the logo, we met the most essential criteria put in place by Johnny Brown: elegance and longevity. As a key player with 100 years in the industry, the fluid graphics of the signature were tinted pink to embellish the serif typography in the naming of the logo. We also had to create a graphic universe that was compatible with the brand’s DNA, with a sparkling and subtle colorimetry.

This project came from the desire to position and personify Johnny Brown as an essential when it comes to buying dance materials. Powered by Magento, this site had to be an effective marketplace listing all the stores of partner dance schools thanks to its interactive map. This map makes it possible to locate a dance school anywhere in America.
